Olive Oils from the land where olive oil first began. Canaan olive oils are naturally organic, owing to ancient Canaanite traditions of farming. Canaan manages the production process from the harvest to the press. The bottled olive oil comes in two varieties:

Rumi Tree
This olive tree has been maintained and cultivated in Palestine since the era of the Roman Empire. It produces a robust and pungent olive oil.

Pickled according to the Palestinian tradition with water, olive oil, sea salt and lemon juice, all from our farmers orchards. Comes in 2 packages:

NABALI DRIED BLACK OLIVES IN OLIVE OIL

Tree-ripened olives, dried, salted and smothered in our olive oil. Comes in 2 packages:

SUN-DRIED MAFTOUL (COUSCOUS or MUGHRABIEH)

Made from organic wheat produced by the same organic olive growers. A portion of the wheat is boiled, sun-dried and cracked, hand-rolled in freshly ground whole wheat flour, then steamed and sun-dried by women-owned cooperatives. This product helps extend opportunities to Palestinian women, one of Canaan's goals.

SUN-DRIED TOMATOES

ZA'ATAR (THYME)

This much appreciated and locally-loved plant is found throughout the hills of Palestine. Za'atar represents the daily Palestinian breakfast with freshly baked bread and olive oil. Canaan's Za'atar is cultivated by Canaan's olive growers and prepared by women-owned cooperatives with roasted organic local sesame seeds and sumac, a favourite Palestinian spice. HONEY

Wildflower blossom honey redolent with delicate, nuanced flavour. Palestinian honey is one of the world's most prized and ancient treats.

TAHINI

Naturally sun-dried organic sesame seeds grown by Canaan's producer groups and milled locally, providing premium quality organic Tahini.
